This page describes how this website is managed as reference to the processing of the personal data of users visiting it.

The information that is also provided pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “Regulation“) to those who interact with the web services of Hotel Celide S.r.l., accessible electronically from the address: http://www.albergocelide.it.

The information is provided solely for the Albergo Celide S.r.l. website and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links.

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING

The processing connected to the web services of this site is performed at the aforementioned Owner’s premises and is processed only by specially designated personnel in charge of the processing. If necessary, the data can be processed:

  • by the staff of the company FASTBOOKING S.a.s. (located at No. 82 Henri Farman, 92130 Issy les Moulineaux, France), which caters to the maintenance of the technological aspect of the site and provides the web space in which the site is hosted.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

  1. Browsing data

During their normal operation, computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected with the intent of associating it with identified users but by their very nature, could lead to the identification of users through processing and association with data held by third parties.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, failed, etc.) and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment.

These data are only used to obtain anonymous statistical data on the use of the Website and to check that it is functioning correctly; these are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the website.

The legal basis of this processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in the technical management relative to the functionality and security of the website.

  1. Data provided voluntarily by users

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this website involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is needed to respond to requests, and any other personal data included in the message.

Specific summarized data will be progressively shown or displayed on the website pages dedicated to the particular service on request.

  1. Cookies

Like virtually all websites, our site also uses some cookies. Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by the user (but also other sites or web servers) send and save onto the user’s computer (or mobile device). These are then re-transmitted back to the same sites (or web servers) the next time they are visited, thus sending information.

Cookies are now fundamental tools as they allow modern sites to work at their best, allowing for maximum personalization, interaction and fluidity in browsing. But they can also be used to track user browsing and then send advertisements in line with relative preferences.

Cookies can be:

  • session cookies (if they expire when the browser is closed) or permanent cookies (they remain until the end of a given period, which may even be years);
  • first party or third party (in the latter case they are set by a website or a webserver other than the one the user is currently visiting);
  • technical cookies (necessary, even indispensable, for a full – or better – use of the site) or profiling cookies (aimed at creating a user profile in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences shown by the user during earlier browsing).

The Italian Data Protection Authority considers cookies to be technical if they are session cookies, functionality cookies or – subject to certain conditions – analytics cookies; the Italian Data Protection Authority, in its decision of 8 May 2014, has specified that the latter may be treated as technical cookies only if they are used for optimization of the site by the owner of the site, who may collect aggregate information on the number of users and how they visit the site.

For more information on the types of cookies, features and their operation, you can consult the sites http://www.allaboutcookies.org, www.youronlinechoices.com, http://cookiepedia.co.uk and the specific Provision by the Italian Data Protection Authority.
